Cleaning Panels. Caring for People. – HelioClean Supports SAVF Susan Strijdom Home

HelioClean Solutions supports SAVF Susan Strijdom Home

Solar energy is about more than panels on a roof. For organisations such as retirement homes, it can help reduce electricity costs and ensure that more resources can be directed towards the people who need them most.

That is why HelioClean Solutions is proud to support SAVF Susan Strijdom Home in Colbyn, Pretoria, by professionally cleaning its solar panels.

Getting the Most from Solar

Solar panels are a significant investment, and like any investment, they need to be maintained. Dust, dirt, pollen, bird droppings and other contaminants can accumulate on panels and reduce the amount of sunlight reaching the solar cells. Research has shown that cleaning can improve solar-panel performance, although the impact varies depending on the environment and level of soiling.

For a retirement home, every bit of energy efficiency matters.

About SAVF Susan Strijdom Home

SAVF Susan Strijdom Home provides accommodation and care for elderly residents, including 24-hour frail care. Running a facility like this requires substantial resources — from electricity and meals to laundry, maintenance and resident care.

Every rand saved on operating costs is potentially another rand that can be invested back into the residents.

Giving Back Through What We Do

At HelioClean, we believe corporate social responsibility doesn’t always have to mean writing a cheque. Sometimes it means giving your time, your skills and your expertise.

Because this isn’t simply about cleaning panels. It’s about helping an organisation stretch every rand further.

And perhaps most importantly:
Someone should look after the people who spent their lives looking after others.
